Christine Serre

I am 47 years old and have lived in South Africa for over 30 years; I am currently based in Johannesburg. I am married and have an 11-year-old child who attends Jules Verne High School, where I served on the board of directors (2022–2024).

As an active member of the nonprofit sector and the French community in South Africa, I devote a significant portion of my time to community service. Elected as a representative for French citizens abroad in May 2025, I am actively committed to representing and supporting our compatriots.

I am a member of the French-South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI), as well as Work In The City (WITC) and Jobourg Accueil, and I also support other organizations such as the SFBJ. In addition, I run a business specializing in fine pastries.
